Blue Line is an American Country Cover-band from Oakdale, CA. Blue Line’s music consists of blending the latest country hits with yesterday’s classics. The band originally formed in 2014 with a small group of friends at the Ceres Police Department and grew from there. Always the life of the party, Blue Line keeps the crowd dancing and head bobbing to the most popular songs while they put on an unforgettable performance. Blue Line has grown popular in recent times by word of mouth through a large group of friends in the Central Valley area of Northern California. Expect to hear a ton of great songs covering a wide range of todays radio hits.
Over the years since we formed, Blue Line has had the pleasure of partnering with many of the Central Valley and even the Bay Area’s nightlife venues. We make it a point to cultivate and thrive on these relationships. We’ve learned a thing or two in our time turning art into our hobby, and our hobby into something we can share. First, it’s all about attitude. Blue Line is not that band that walks in thinking we’re the cream of the crop. We’re a bunch of working stiffs who love the chance to come together, make some decent noise, get some people dancing and smiling. That’s really all we’re after. As it turns out there’s quite a few people looking for exactly that. We’re gonna park our 40 foot Silver Eagle bus near the venue, load in plenty early, sound check, and be ready to rock by call time. Your guests are going to see the bus and get curious, so they’re going to pay your cover. Next, Pat is going to set “the rules”: That everyone participates. The stage will be packed with patrons during Country Girl. Everyone is going to sing Friends in Low Places, especially when Pat comes around with the mic. By the way, he’ll spend more time in the crowd than on the stage. Do you have a bar? You’ll find Pat on top of it during 1, 2 Many. He’ll need a beer for that one. Trust us, it’s worth it.
2021 and Covid came close to choking out one of our favorite places to play, and Blue Line was proud to make frequent appearances to attract paying customers. We’re proud to see them alive and well today, along with a number of our other regular venues. Like we said, it’s about relationships and attitude. We’ve shown up to play “test gigs” a few times, and have only tested once before earning our place there. We don’t dress it up or anything either. We just do what we do, and people love it, and we love them.
The members of Blue Line are humbled and honored that so many come see us, follow us on social media, recognize our bus, and wear our T-shirts. Us knuckle dragging dudes who happen to manage an instrument and/or a microphone ride the high of highs when we hear you applaud, see you dance, and literally feel the floor move to y’all stomping to Britton’s kick tempo. Keep it coming, Blue Line Country, and we’ll proudly keep bringing it.
